During the 20th century, Japan was heavily involved in commercial whaling until the International Whaling Commission moratorium on commercial whaling went into effect in 1986. They still are heavily into whaling today due to the technology of the ships they use can catch, slice and dice, package, and air lift them out to be sold before anyone has the chance to catch them. The Japanese say that they are catching whales in order to perform scientific research on them. I call bull$&!+.

Japan claims that annual whaling is justifiable and necessary for scientific research. Japan also tries to claim that whaling is just a cultural difference and emotional anthromorphosism. Again, I find this to be a bunch of crap. This needs to end!

Can you believe that more than 11,300 Sharks were killed hourly for their fins? This is the result of what happens after they take their fins....they throw them back into to the ocean where they sink to the bottom and drowned. Out of a Shark, only 4% is taken, 96% is thrown back to the sea, as you can see above.

Another example of why this is absolutely unnecessary, 94% of these innocent creatures are going to be thrown back into the ocean, left to die.

This is the aftermath of the smashing of the seals heads in. How does this make sense to anyone? Especially after seeing something like this? There needs to be an end to this and/or another way to go about it. Like a tranquilizer, so they don't have to endure this kind of pain. I don't think this guy would like me to come over at TThanksgiving dinner and club all of his children to death for their skin, fur, and/or fat.  

This is the way that the horrible human beings go about killing these seals. They just simply bash their little heads in with a club until their is nothing left to be recognized as a head.

This is an innocent baby seal, who has no idea how short her life is going to be and how much of a brutal death she will soon have to endure.

This is what they call "Horse Fighting." I have could have NEVER imagined that this is something that people find amusing and at the least entertaining. I had never even concieved the thought of people purposefully pitting two stallions together to fight until one is injured so badly it may need to be slaughtered!!

I believe that if they are willing to do this why don't we just throw them, the dog abuser, in a ring with a animal activist and see how they come out of it....I have a hunch that his face would look similar to this innocent dogs face, if not worse!!
